Live, with the details that matter.

Each sport gets its own strip, drawn the way the broadcast graphics draw it. When there's more to say, the card grows. When there isn't, it shrinks back.

Know before it starts.

Pick a favourite team in each league. Score Buddy puts their game first and tells you when it's near.

Four alerts, each worth reading.

An hour out, thirty minutes, five, and at kickoff. Every one carries a different line: where it's played, the records, who's at home, who's out. Click any of them and that game is on the card.

Invisible in screen shares.

One switch keeps the widget out of screen sharing, recordings and screenshots. Your meeting sees your slides. You see the score.

Black or White. Made for the Mac.

Apple's own type and proportions, continuous corners, a resting shadow. Three sizes. It reads as one of the Mac's own widgets, because it's built like one.

Questions, answered.

How do I get started?

Download, drag Score Buddy into Applications, open it. A short welcome asks which leagues you follow and, if you like, a favourite team in each. The widget appears on screen; settings live behind the basketball in the menu bar.

Does it really stay on top of everything?

Yes: over every app, on every desktop, and over full-screen video. If you'd rather it sat behind your windows, Show Only on Desktop parks it on your wallpaper like one of Apple's own widgets.

Will it show up when I share my screen?

Not if you don't want it to. Hide from Screen Sharing keeps it out of Zoom, Teams, Meet, recordings and screenshots, while you still see it on your display.

Where do the scores come from?

Public sports data feeds, refreshed every fifteen seconds during a live game, with the leagues' own feeds as backups. If the feeds can't be reached, the card shows how old the scores are rather than pretending.

Is it free?

Yes. A paid version with extra features may come later; everyone who installs now keeps what they have.

Free. Two minutes to set up.

Download, drag to Applications, pick your teams.
